Welcome to the Team Hope Wales website
In 2008 a team of eight runners completed a 230 mile run from Anglesey to Cardiff, With the team undeterred from this challenge they have now upped the stakes and on the 3rd March 2011 they will attempt to run from Cardiff Bay to Amlwch on Anglesey then turn around and return to Cardiff on Sunday 6th March which they hope will raise £20,000 for the Cancer Research Wales.
The team is planning to complete the run non stop by covering the distance in a relay with each runner estimated to cover around 50 miles each. Offering their support over the latter stages will be stars from the world of sport including Jamie Roberts, Jonathan Davies and Nigel Walker who is also a Patron for the charity.
We will be hoping that companies and individuals will offer us charitable donations in aid of this very worthwhile cause.
